The commercial areas in within here are housed by many companies in within the office lots while the shop lots are rented out to food businesses, saloons and such. At present, there are no trains that come to Sri Hartamas and as such, you will most likely need to drive in order to get here. Once at Sri Hartamas, most of your needs are the taken care of as there are more than enough choices of every thing you might be looking for.

One of the main selling point of Sri Hartamas is the fact that despite its blooming residential development, it still exude a lot of greenery and natural parks around its surrounding areas. Unlike township like Bangsar, where you can barely find a park to take a walk in, Sri Hartamas still have a lot more to offer, distinguishing itself from the rest. Apart from that, the fact that it is located in an isolated area by itself and not really connected with another township makes it unique and stands out. You will also most likely notice that the roads in the residential homes here are very wide. This was to cater to the families here who will most likely be owning several cars, which was first envisioned by the developers then due to the fact that very few public transports actually come to Sri Hartamas.

It is slight different in terms of the people here in Sri Hartamas as compared to other townships around Klang Valley. This is perhaps because there used to be a large community of expatriates living here over the past couple of years, which even resulted in a nursery offering French classes. You will notice that at Sri Hartamas, one of the best things about residing here is that it is so self sufficient that you practically no longer need to get out of the township if you need anything at all. Unless you are looking for something highly specialized, there are more than enough choices here for you to choose from. There are yoga schools, modern gyms, cafes and restaurants, language schools, dentists and practically any other shops to cater for your needs.
