Here what u should know about Labu Sayong;



The cooling of water, earthenware, gourd-shaped jars for keeping drinking water cool, a necessary pleasure in the hot malaysian climate. The inherent minerals in the labu sayong's chief clay and minerals, believed to be able to cure fevers and coughs. Considering the popularity of mineral pots today, could it be that our forefathers had already put this concept to good use centuries Ago. (it traditionally hand made. ) can be use as decor & water jar.

Not all Labu Sayong meant to use as a water jar!! So beware!! But I can guarantee u that this Labu Sayong of mine was purposely made for drinking propose.



Yes, the water remain cool all the time (not as cool as in the fridge tho )

( unless u pour in hot water ) .
